  6. ¾Deadlock 3 - 1 disk

  8. For one disk there are a LOT of artic-
  9. les.  Like Grapevine, it is a UK maga-
  10. zine and concentrates on the UK scene.
  11. A  few interesting tips on coding, and
  12. protection are supplemented by lots of
  13. humour.  Interviews and scene news ma-
  14. kes  sure  the  magazine  keeps  up to
  15. date.   There  are  of  course  lists,
  16. jokes,  etc.   and  adverts.   R-9 has
  17. done  well  with the code, getting rid
  18. of  the  bugs in issue 2 like the back
  19. scrolling  bug.  Nicely presented, and
  20. some  nice  music  is well.  Overall a
  21. good  magazine, but just seems lacking
  22. something.   I  don`t know what - it`s
  23. good, but isn`t that special.  But for
  24. the third issue, it`s done better than
  25. many  other  mags  would  have done at
  26. that stage.

  32. ¾Raw 6 - 1 disk

  34. ¹This  is  a  very  good magazine.  It
  35. sports  a good selection of music, and
  36. the  articles  are mostly about compu-
  37. ters.   The presentation is faultless,
  38. spot  on.   The next issue should be a
  39. real  cracker.  Articles cover many to
  40. pics,  from  Odyssey  to the Mantronix
  41. and  Tip controversy.  Reviews of disk
  42. mags,  demos, and party results are on
  43. ¶çedf,888,0f0,aaf,f8f,ff0,fff¹this  disk  which  is  a  good idea as
  44. no-one  gets a chance to go to all the
  45. parties around.  I think there`s a bug
  46. in  the  modules select bit, Newspaper
  47. Groove  just  wouldn`t  load,  and  it
  48. crashed  on  me  a  couple  of  times.
  49. Besides  this, the magazine is a great
  50. read  if  you want to get to know more
  51. about   the   scene   in  central  and
  52. northern Europe.  Not much to interest
  53. the  UK  scene, but still a good read.
  54. Maybe  a  little  variety is needed in
  55. the   articles   to   spice   it   up.

  62. ¾Nordic Report 3 - 1 disk
  63. ²------------------------
  64. ¹This  diskmag  features the slickest,
  65. and  best  interface  ever!   It is so
  66. easy  to  use  and  there is also good
  67. music   in   the   background.    Like
  68. Strangers  say,  it is NOT an ordinary
  69. mag.    It   has  an  amusing  gallery
  70. section,   the   charts,   and  a  few
  71. articles.   Yep.   There isn`t much in
  72. the  way of articles but what there is
  73. concentrates   on   the  Nordic  scene
  74. (hence  it`s  title).  It really isn`t
  75. much  use  to the mainland european or
  76. UKer,    but    it   is   interesting,
  77. especially  the  charts.   Good coding
  78. all  round.   They  should however get
  79. the  pictures to be in lo-res.  I know
  80. ¶çedf,888,0f0,aaf,f8f,ff0,fff¹quality  is  better  in med-res but it
  81. takes a lot of room, room which should
  82. be  for more articles.  If you live in
  83. Scandinavia, you`d be mad to miss it.

  89. ¾Suicid 6 - 1 disk
  90. ²-----------------
  91. ¹This  is  a  disk  mag from the people
  92. from Trsi (Austria).  Nice music, nice
  93. interface,  in  fact  it`s pretty good
  94. issue.  Zinkfloid and co.  have done a
  95. good  editing job, but I feel the font
  96. should  be  changed.   Well, maybe the
  97. text  colour.   It really was terrible
  98. and  gaudy.   The  articles,  well, it
  99. seems  that  they  have  small  suport
  100. since  Zinkfloid  and  co  have writen
  101. almost  every  article , but they were
  102. pretty okay
  103. for  a this issue.  This should become
  104. a  real  big mag in the future so keep
  105. your eye out for it.  Before it loads,
  106. there is a pretty cool picture

  112. ¾Propaganda 3 - 1 disk

  114. ¹This is the third issue of propaganda
  115. and it is geting better and better,
  116. the main editor Colorbird have put
  117. alot of work behind this issue. The
  118. articles in the mag was like the
  119. other, diskmags, interviews,scene
  120. ¶çedf,888,0f0,aaf,f8f,ff0,fff¹stuff, reviews, entertainment and
  121. adverts. the only thing is the panel,
  122. it is messy, change it for the next
  123. issue!!!  but in overall so is it an
  124. mag that have come to stay...

  130. ¾Compass 1 - 1 disk
  131. ²------------------
  132. ¹This is the ever best diskmag in the
  133. history, and it is made by Alcatraz,
  134. only the name are telling us that this
  135. is going to be great!!  and it is.
  136. the music and the great atmosphere
  137. they have built up in the mag are just
  138. wonderfull, have you missed it?  go
  139. and get it, you will not be sorry...
